In diesem Kurs wird auf Grundlage der Sammlung der Materialwerkstatt ein Basiswissen über eine Viel¬zahl von Materialien aus den unterschiedlichsten Anwendungsbereichen vermittelt.
In den Kategorien Mineralien, Metalle, Hölzer, Pflanzen & Tiere, Textilien und Kunststoffe schauen wir uns sowohl traditionelle, alltägliche Materialien als auch aktuelle Materialentwicklungen an. Neben dem Überblick über konstruktive und kreative Möglichkeiten werden besonders auch die nachhaltigen Aspekte betrachtet und ein kreativer Umgang angeregt.
Im Kern steht die Faszination für Material, Freude diese in zukünftigen Entwürfen zu behandeln und eine eigene Haltung zum Thema Material zu entwickeln.
Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf maximal 11 begrenzt, Incomings werden bevorzugt. Der Kurs findet in englischer Sprache statt.
In this course, based on the collection of the materials workshop, a basic knowledge of a variety of materials from different areas of application is taught. In the categories of minerals, metals, woods, plants & animals, textiles and plastics, we look at both traditional, everyday materials and current material developments. In addition to an overview of constructive and creative possibilities, special attention is paid to sustainable aspects and a creati¬ve approach is encouraged.
At the core of the course is the fascination for materials, the joy of dealing with them in future designs and developing one`s own attitude to the subject of materials.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 11, incomings are preferred. The course will be held in english.
